QPR finally set to offload Brazil goalkeeper to Benfica

first_imgJulio Cesar is in Portugal ahead of a season-long loan move from QPR to Benfica.The Brazil goalkeeper is surplus to requirements at Loftus Road, and manager Harry Redknapp is keen to offload the 34-year-old, who is currently earning £100,000-a-week at the west London club.Redknapp, who stuck with former England stopper Robert Green in his side’s Premier League opener on Saturday, said: “Benfica are supposed to want him. Cesar is supposed to be over there.
