Canon launches professional EOS-1D X Mark II cam, it just costs Rs 4,55,995

first_imgIt was unveiled globally a while ago but finally Canon is bringing its top professional camera to India. On Friday, Canon launched EOS-1D X Mark II in India at a price of Rs 4,55,995. This price is only for the body, which is normal for a camera like the 1D X Mark II because they are bought by professional photographers who already have lenses.The 1D X Mark II has a robust magnesium alloy body, designed to be dust-proof and water-resistant. It has 61-point all points AF system with 41-points cross type AF. One particularly noticeable feature in the camera is its ability to focus in very low light due to its centre AF points that are sensitive to light of up to EV -3.The 1D X Mark II is an expensive and full-featured camera. And while it can be used by prosumers or photography enthusiasts, its main consumers are going to be people who shoot images for living.”With 14 FPS and 4K video recording at up to 60FPS, sports, fast action, wildlife photographers, as well as videographers, will find the EOS-1D X Mark II to be a revolutionary step up?? said Andrew Koh, vice president (consumer imaging), Canon India.Cannon claims that the DSLR is equipped with Al servo AF III+, a new auto focus algorithm with AI servo scenes analysis. Additionally, its mirror is constructed with a new drive mechanism that quickly suppresses vibration to deliver a frame rate of 14 FPS with AF/AE tracking enabled. It can shoot at 16 FPS with Live View and no screen blackout. It also has a Fast 2.0 card slot along with a CF card slot, wireless file transmitter K394, full HD recording and 4K frame grab.advertisementCanon has added Dual Pixel CMOS AF (DAF), for the first time in the EOS-1D series, which will enable users to gain fast auto focus in Live View mode. It also has 35mm full frame CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 6+ image processors, 20.2-megapixel image resolution, and ISO speed of up to 409,600. Its Digital Lens Optimizer offers editing functions that include chromatic aberration correction, peripheral illumination correction, and diffraction correction. With Fine Detail picture style it offers sharper images. According to Canon, the DSLR has a shutter life expectancy of 400,000 cycles.  The camera uses K390 battery and also has in-built GPS.
